The actress is famous for her involvement as a model for Victoria's Secret a well-known American producer, designer and marketer of women's lingerie, women's clothing and cosmetics. She is also known for her work with Burberry the British luxurious fashion house, where she became the face of their brand's fragrance Burberry Body. Later, she began acting in the American scifi-action movie Transformers Dark of the Moon. The film was the third installment in the Transformers film franchise. It was a massive commercial success earning more than $1 billion. It also received nominations for multiple Oscars. Then, a few years later, she starred in the action-film Mad Max Fury Road. It was a commercial hit and allowed her to transition from just being a model into an actress. Her professional career has seen her be awarded numerous awards like the Elle Style Awards Model of the Year award in 2009 and the Harper Bazaar Women of the Year Award Businesswoman of the Year for 2014 and 2016 respectively.
